Singapore's Parkson Retail to Open Third Plaza in Vietnam

HANOI, July 2 Asia Pulse - Singapore's Parkson Retail Group will open a new plaza in Ho Chi Minh City in addition to the Parkson Saigon Tourist Plaza, which was put into service two years ago.

Located in the city's District 5, the new Parkson Hung Vuong Plaza will include stores to offer a lifestyle selection of international fashion brands, such as Calvin Klein, Timberland, Esprit, Lacoste, Adidas, Puma, Nike, Guess, Lancome, Estee Lauder, and Shiseido.

Parkson's new shopping centre, the third in Vietnam, lies in the trade-apartment complex Hung Vuong Plaza which was built at the coast of US$42 million.

The Parkson Retail Group, the retailing arm of Singapore 's Lion Group, made its first appearance in Vietnam in 2004. It just opened a trading centre in the north, which is the TD Plaza in Hai Phong port city.
