Uzbekistan's Eurasia Tapo Disc JV Exports Auto Wheels

TASHKENT, July 6 Asia Pulse - Ferghana based Eurasia TAPO Disc Uzbek-British JV is manufacturing high quality auto wheels. The company's products have found a market not only in Uzbekistan, but also abroad. Six years ago, when the production was launched, the enterprise produced only four types of products.

Thanks to modern technology and equipment, the JV now produces over 50 types of products. The company's main customers are UzDaewooAuto, as well as car producers in Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, and other countries.

Last year, Eurasia TAPO Disc produced over a million wheels. The company's net profits exceeded 340 million soums. This year it has already manufactured over 500,000 auto wheels.

The company employs about 560 young workers. It has recently launched a moulding shop, which allows it to manufacture wheels of customized shapes.
