Pakistan Int'l Airlines Assures Better Services for Exporters

RAWALPINDI, May 7 Asia Pulse - Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has assured better air services to exporters on a priority basis as well as to its customers.

A three-member cargo team of PIA on Monday visited the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) to gain views of exporters on the problems faced by them. The team said that it was very important to interact with the exporters regarding their problems to come up with best services.

Giving details about the space allocated for cargo, the members of the team said that more space was being allocated for cargo to ensure their quality. The business community should avail themselves of the opportunity as rates of PIA were less than any other airline, they added.

President RCCI, Abdul Rauf Chaudhary assured the team of their cooperation. He stressed the need to introduce new services so that more customers could be attracted. He said that PIA could promote itself on modern pattern by facilitating customers.
