Vietnamese Raiilway Union to Reduce Accident Hot Spots

HCM CITY, May 15 Asia Pulse - The Vietnam Railway Union will spend over 100 billion VND (US$6.25 million) this year to eliminate railway hot spots, where numerous accidents have taken place in recent years.

The corporation will focus on hot spots in Da Nang and the provinces of Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa and Dong Nai.

Over 480,000 construction projects violate railway safety procedures, according to the corporation.
